North Carolina The University of North Carolina is planning to relocate to other facilities the vivarium currently housed in Berryhill Hall, clearing the site for construction of the new Medical Education Building. New York 3/21 The New York City Dept. of Transportation’s Bureau of Highways is seeking bidders to replace partially the Bruckner Expressway’s Unionport Bridge, in the Bronx. The project entails the complete replacement of the movable-span superstructure; the partial replacement of the flanking span framing; replacement of the reinforced-concrete deck on the flanking spans; the replacement of the deck and some of the beams in the approach-span structures; and replacement of mechanical and electrical systems.
