Florida Broward County and the City of Fort Lauderdale are planning to build a joint government center campus on the three-acre site of the county’s main bus terminal at 101 NW First St. in Fort Lauderdale. It is anticipated to be a multi­story Class A office building or a series of buildings encompassing 700,000 sq ft. Zyscovich Architects has been hired to assess the space needs of the city and county and propose a package of design criteria to guide the selection of a bidder to build the project. Minnesota The Lander Group is planning to carry out the Grain Belt Riverfront Redevelopment Project at the intersection of Marshall Street and 13th Avenue in Minneapolis. The project consists of four to six buildings containing 215 rental units, 60 for-sale units of either rowhouses or condominiums, 30,000 sq ft to 40,000 sq ft of office and retail space, and 450 underground parking spaces.
