The City of Mesa is planning to construct the Central Mesa Reuse Pipeline. The project entails building a 9.5-mile-long, 36- or 42-in.-dia pipeline to move millions of gallons of reclaimed wastewater daily from the Northwest Wastewater Treatment Plant at Thomas Road and Val Vista Drive for delivery to the Gila River Indian Community’s agricultural fields. Dibble Engineering is the designer, and Garney AZ is the contractor. Construction is expected to start in September 2023. The project is valued at $88.5 million. City of Mesa, P.O.
