With 35 years of experience working in the energy sector, John Rhode has a wealth of knowledge about the energy market of the Americas. As CEO for RES Americas, he leads the company’s initiatives for solar, wind and energy storage development and construction, as well as asset management, plus its operations and maintenance teams across the U.S. and Canada. Prior to joining RES, John was CEO of ENGIE Service North American, overseeing operations spanning energy, construction and facilities management, as well as managing the integration of acquired companies. John began his career at Siemens Energy and spent part of his early career at Mitsubishi. He is passionate about improving the industry's health and safety accomplishments and gains in diversity and inclusion. He is committed to working to decarbonize the energy sector as part of the green energy transition. He holds an MBA from the University of Houston and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State University. John is married and in his spare time likes to travel and spend time with friends and his two rescue dogs.
